Continuing its long-standing legacy of meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the Sri Lanka Logistics and Freight Forwarders’ Association (SLFFA) marked another significant milestone on 6th May 2026.
At a time when the nation stands at a critical juncture requiring unity, resilience, and collective action to rebuild and move forward, SLFFA has stepped forward with purpose and conviction to support national recovery efforts.
Representing the Association, Chairman Mr Andre Fernando, together with the Treasurer and the Secretary General of SLFFA, met with the President’s Secretary at the Presidential Secretariat to formally hand over a donation of Rs. 3.2 million. This contribution is directed toward the ‘Rebuild Sri Lanka’ initiative, a national programme focused on driving sustainable recovery and strengthening critical infrastructure across the country.
With this latest contribution, SLFFA’s total philanthropic impact now exceeds Rs. 13 million, reinforcing its role as a socially responsible and forward-thinking industry leader. While the Association has historically prioritized healthcare, including contributions of over Rs. 7.8 million to the Lady Ridgeway Hospital and support for elder care through the Arthur Perera Elders' Home, this initiative reflects a deliberate and timely shift toward supporting broader national economic and social revitalization.
This contribution is more than a financial gesture; it is a statement of intent. It reflects the industry’s commitment to stand alongside the nation in times of need, to contribute toward rebuilding livelihoods, restoring confidence, and shaping a stronger, more resilient Sri Lanka.
SLFFA extends its deepest gratitude to its members, whose unwavering support, generosity, and shared sense of responsibility have made this contribution possible. It is through this collective spirit that the Association continues to make a meaningful difference, rising together to rebuild the nation when it matters most.
